Casting Call for PLAYTOPIA!!!! 🎬 🎥 🍿 📽️ 🎞️

Do you know an imaginative, outspoken child aged 7-9 who would love to participate in a unique, international film experience?

We are now casting for PLAYTOPIA, a feature-length documentary by Czech-American filmmaker Bára Jíchová Tyson.

📍 Filming Details:

• When: July 4-11 2025

• Where: Prague, Czech Republic

  The production will fully cover all travel, accommodation, and expenses!!!

What is PLAYTOPIA?

PLAYTOPIA is a playful, hybrid documentary film that brings together eight diverse children to imagine and build two worlds: The world as they see it today and the world they hope for in the future. Set in a large, minimalist white studio, the film explores big topics like inequality, power, and societal structures through fun, hands-on activities. It’s an opportunity for children to play, create, and freely express their vision of tomorrow. We’re looking for young voices worldwide to bring this imaginative journey to life!

Who We’re Looking For

• Age: 7-9 years old

• Language: Fluent in English to ensure the children can communicate with each other (all accents welcome).

• Background: Open to all genders, races, cultures, religions, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• Characteristics: Outspoken, thoughtful, imaginative, and eager to share their ideas.

Project Timeline

• May 2025:
  Children will self-tape personal moments at home using small cameras provided by the production.

• July 2025:
  3-day studio shoot in Prague, Czech Republic, featuring creative activities and collaboration.
